To suggest that education is a major focus for Paul Mengert, AMG (Association Management Group) founder and current chief executive officer, is a colossal understatement. You see, AMG is a management company that teaches personnel at homeowners’ associations how to do their jobs better. That means education that creates better lives for people, especially homeowners. Of course, when HOAs work better, it's easier to sell homes, which is better for the entire economy. Under Paul Mengert, AMG's program functions as a shorter version of a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program.
In many ways, that mini-MBA program is modeled after the MBA program at Harvard Business School, from which Paul Mengert is an alumnus. Most of the classes in the program are taught by Harvard Business School alumni, including Paul, who just happen to live in the Greensboro, North Carolina area and who want to give back to their community as much as Paul does. Paul Mengert was born and raised in Greensboro, he went to the University of North Carolina-Greensboro as an undergrad and he purposely located AMG’s offices there , so as to provide his community with a solid economic boost.
